George C. Romero, the talented son of the legendary zombie filmmaker, collaborated with Free Reign Entertainment on Romero’s Aftermath, a new free-to-play survival horror which is now available for download.
This isn’t the first time that the family has delved into the world of video games. Romero Sr. directed a commercial for Resident Evil 2 and came close to directing the film adaptation of the series. His son is an avid gamer and was thriller when the project came his way, saying, “I’ve long been a fan of survival horror games, and when I had the opportunity to collaborate on Aftermath, I jumped at the chance to bring my experience working on horror films into a new medium. Free Reign has built a great title that I think players are going to love, whether they’re new to the survival horror genre or a huge fan like myself.”
Romero’s Aftermath is about zombies. Because what the hell else would it be about? It’s also set in a large open world environment, so you’ll have plenty of room to search for things to kill.
Synopsis:
Play with your friends in a zombie-infested world as you face the remnants of zombie hordes and rebuild society in a truly massive sandbox world. Choose how you want to play with hundreds of items, skins, weapons, character customizations, base building, crafting, zombies, and more!
