I adore Australian horror movies, and I have a definite weak spot for monster flicks. When you put the two together, my head has a tendency to implode. Not surprisingly, this writer is seriously looking forward to writer/director Luke Sparke’s upcoming creature feature Red Billabong.
The story takes place in the Outback, and horror fans who are well-versed in Australian cinema know there’s always something extremely dangerous and deadly prowling around this region.
Here’s the synopsis straight from IMDb:
In the Australian Outback, two brothers discover old secrets and family lies. As their friends start to go missing, they fear they are being stalked by someone or something from their worst nightmares. But is it just… A story? A legend? A hoax? Or is it real?
