The Walking Dead Season 6 Key Art and First Character Portrait

Sure, “Fear the Walking Dead” is pretty good so far, but that’s not stopping the die-hard fans of its successor, “The Walking Dead,” from looking forward to that show’s October return.  And AMC has provided them with a pair of gifts today: the official key art for Season 6 and the first character portrait, which features Rick (Andrew Lincoln) reunited with Morgan (Lennie James) within the walls of Alexandria.

With regard to the key art, it focuses on Rick as well, his face still bandaged from his fight with Pete at the close of Season 5, armed with his signature Python.

“The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, Alanna Masterson, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Seth Gilliam, Tovah Feldshuh, Ross Marquand, Alexandra Breckenridge, and Austin Nichols. New Season 6 cast additions include Corey Hawkins, Ethan Embry, and Merritt Wever.

Executive producers are Robert Kirkman, showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, and Tom Luse.

“The Walking Dead” Season 6 premieres Sunday, October 11, 2015, at 9/8c on AMC with a 90-minute episode.
