Writer/director Keith Smith’s 869 explores what happens when you gather a bunch of attractive aspiring actresses and stuff them inside a supposedly haunted house for a reality television show. Not surprisingly, it doesn’t take very long for things to get incredibly spooky.

Filmed in Houston, Texas, Smith’s supernatural horror flick stars Gabrielle Stone (daughter of actress Dee Wallace) and Jackey Hall (Patient Zero). If the premise strikes your fancy, then you’re in luck: The film is now available for rental or purchase through Amazon and iTunes.

The official plot synopsis reads as follows:

Eight actresses get more than they bargained for when they sign on for a reality TV competition, unknowingly in a haunted house. Before long, Megan starts having nightmares and gets suspicious as creepy things begin to take place. Through a little digging, she discovers several brutal murders that took place in the house a few years prior. In fear for her life, she flees the house.

Megan’s young and hot replacement, Desiree, is confident she will triumph over her competition until she comes face to face with the young ghost. Now possessed by her, Desiree unleashes a killing spree through the night as the other contestants fight for their lives.

The hidden cameras installed by the show’s producers follow Desiree from room to room as she manipulates all of the girls to her will. Police can’t get to the house fast enough, as the young ghost is desperate to reveal her killer.
