Hack/Slash Finds Director

Hack/Slash Finds DirectorA bit of Hack/Slash news has trickled in regarding the big screen adaptation of the Devil’s Due comics. Looks like the project has finally nabbed itself a director.

THR reports that commercial director Fredrik Bond has come aboard to direct Rogue’s adaptation of the cult horror comic.

Hack/Slash was created by Tim Seeley and follows the exploits of a young woman named Cassie Hack who, with her partner Vlad, scours the country hunting slashers. Think Buffy with Jason and Michael instead of Dracula and The Master.

Cameras are set to roll this winter (cross your fingers) with Bond (who’s also slated to direct The Host and The Hunger remakes) working from a script by Justin Marks.

Look for more soon!
