Sinister 2 Prize for Box Of Dread August Selfie Contest

By now, all Box of Dread acolytes should have received their August A Nightmare On Elm Street and Sinister 2-themed boxes. So, it’s time for the return of one of our FAVORITE things – the Selfie Contest! Sorry, we took a month off last month when we got inundated by conventions, and an unusually high number of bodies we had to hide… but we’re ready to turn up the heat for August!
For the August Box of Dread Selfie Contest, the prize will be a Sinister 2 press pack that was sent to journalists promoting the movie. This included an actual taxidermed rat. See how cute it is!
Please note the creature above came with broken legs and is barely attached to his stand. Somehow this made things even grosser.
Along with the toothy little bringer of plagues, the prize pack also come with a Sinister 2 promotional film canister and everything is packed neatly inside of a Sinister 2 wooden box.
The entry deadline for this “selfie” contest is September 9th, 11:59pm ET/ 9pm PT (the same deadline as Box of Dread signups) so that all active acolytes will have a chance to enter! Follow these instructions to enter the contest:
1) Post a “selfie” of yourself with any item from August’s box. If you’re shy, take the pic with your pet, a toy figure, a poster, or anything with a face.
2) Post the pic on our Box of Dread Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BoxOfDread) or on your Instagram account.
3) THIS IS IMPORTANT – Tag the “Selfie” with #BoxOfDread and #Selfie. If you use a different name/handle on FB, message us your name on Facebook so that we can find your Box of Dread account.
4) Deadline will be Wednesday, September 9th, at 11:59pm ET/ 9pm PT! We’ll announce the winners on the Box of Dread Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BoxOfDread) shortly thereafter.

Synopsis:
In the aftermath of the shocking events in Sinister, a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with frightening intensity. James Ransone co-stars.
