Originally intended to be a sequel to Se7en, Solace was first announced in 2011. Filming occurred in May 2013, and then it seemed to disappear for two years.
Now, finally, a French trailer has emerged (it’s called Premonitions over there), and… well, it looks like the usual cheesy low-budget affair, only with big names attached.
Anthony Hopkins and Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays a psychic and a cop tasked with capturing a serial killer played by Colin Farrell. With that kind of star power, it’s a shame that the film faded into obscurity, not helped by the fact that the closure of Relativity Media left it without a distributor in the US.
