Get ready for an Asian horror remake that’s as unconventional as can be, riddled with things we have never seen before! In The Echo we’re just getting more unsuspecting people who put their noses where they shouldn’t be and end up being fodder for a lingering curse! Nope. Nothing familiar about that plot at all!
The good news is at least the director of the original The Echo, Yam Larana, is back for the American redux starring Jesse Bradford, Amelia Warner, Iza Calzado, Louise Linton, Carlos Leon and Kevin Durand.
The plot centers around a young ex-con who moves into an old apartment building, only to learn his neighbor is an abusive police officer who savagely beats his wife and daughter. When the ex-con tries to intervene, he becomes trapped in a curse.
