Another great character actor has passed on, leaving behind a film legacy that few could match. It’s with a heavy but thankful heart that we say goodbye to Aubrey Morris, who passed on of natural causes this past Wednesday, July 15th. He was 89.

Though Morris has appeared in several high-profile horror films over the years including Lifeforce, Necessary Evil, Legend of the Mummy, Tales From the Crypt: Bordello of Blood, Blood Beast From Outer Space, and The Wicker Man and in genre TV shows such as “Deadwood,” “Space: 1999,” “Tales From the Crypt,” “Alien Nation,” and “The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy,” Morris will be remembered best by fans for his 1971 role in Stanley Kurbrick’s A Clockwork Orange, in which he played probation officer Mr. Deltoid.

We here at Dread Central would like to take this time to offer our sincerest of condolences to Morris’ friends, family, and constituents. Godspeed, good sir.

Aubrey Morris
