We’ve been following the Escape from Jesus Island boys since the beginning. Shawn French and the rest of the team at Wisdumb Productions have been doing a stellar job and are proud to announce Escape from Jesus Island #3 will be unleashed on July 15th.  Check out some early images.

After two insanely popular issues, Escape from Jesus Island #3 moves the story forward in a slick-looking new issue that may very well be the best one the boys have done yet. We’ve got three preview pages below as well as a look at both the standard and variant covers. And you’ll have to agree that the artwork is insane.

“Our new issue is stunning,” said EFJI writer Shawn French. “It’s Mortimer Glum’s best work to date, and the print job came out amazing. I love it so much. Gorgeous and horrible and wrong and wonderful all at once. In our third issue, we’re also now starting to dig into the meat of our tale a bit and unravel what exactly ReGen Corp is up to on Malsum Island. We had so much story to pack into this issue that we cut everything that wasn’t panels. We don’t even have a house ad this issue. It’s story from cover to cover, which is unheard of these days.”

As you can see below, there are two covers for Issue #3. There’s the main cover and a Geeky variant cover from Geeky Kid Comics in the UK. Both cover versions are currently available for pre-order. The official release date is July 15, 2015.

In addition to the ever-growing comic book series, Escape from Jesus Island is also continuing to move forward with other ideas, including a video game. “We’re working on an Escape from Jesus Island role-playing game for PC, using the Unity Engine,” French said. “Eric Pavone (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Army of Two, Spider-Man: The Movie) is the lead designer. The game is a prequel to the story in the comics, and players will control a teenage Antichrist and three custom-made cannibalistic mutant freaks in an old-school dungeon crawler.”

Escape from Jesus Island, Issue #3 Synopsis
Stranded after a crash-landing, the Vatican Black Ops continue their quest to steal the clone of Christ created by ReGen Corp at the Malsum Island Research Facility. With time tight and cannibalistic mutants closing in from all sides, will they complete their mission or become the latest victims of the Antichrist’s horde?
