#SDCC15: Teen Wolf Renewed for Season 6; See the Mid-Season Trailer for Season 5
MTV announced today to a packed room of screaming fans during San Diego Comic-Con that its hit supernatural drama series “Teen Wolf” (currently airing Mondays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT) will return for an extraordinary sixth season. During the panel moderated by Kevin Smith (yes, Kevin Smith), fans got a first look at the shocking mid-season trailer, which of course we have right here for you to check out.
Today’s Comic-Con panel marked the sixth consecutive year that the “Teen Wolf” pack takes over San Diego. Cast members Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Dylan Sprayberry, and Cody Christian, along with executive producer Jeff Davis, participated in the panel and Q&A session moderated by renowned director, writer, and actor Kevin Smith.
In the next all-new episode of “Teen Wolf,” Episode 5.04, “Condition Terminal,” airing Monday, July 13, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) tries to track down a fugitive. Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) tries to play wingman to Mason (Kylin Rambo) at a nightclub.
MTV is also making a splash on the convention center floor this year with the network’s first-ever branded booth featuring top series “Teen Wolf,” “Scream,” and “The Shannara Chronicles.” Fans can participate in an interactive photo booth and will be treated to their favorite stars from all three series when they stop by for signings throughout the weekend. Swag will be handed out all weekend including “Teen Wolf” Alpha eyes contacts, “Scream” t-shirts, and a special San Diego Comic-Con exclusive edition of The Elfstones of Shannara book (on which the series is based) plus posters for all three series, and more.
“Teen Wolf” was developed by Jeff Davis (creator, “Criminal Minds”) who also serves as executive producer. Additional executive producers include Russell Mulcahy (Highlander, Resident Evil: Extinction), Joe Genier, Marty Adelstein (“Prison Break”), René Echevarria (“Medium,” “Castle”), Tony DiSanto, and Liz Gateley. The series is a co-production with, and distributed by, MGM, in association with Lost Marbles Productions, Inc., Siesta Productions, Inc., First Cause, Inc., and DiGa.
