Game of Thrones Star Replacing Robert Pattinson in Thriller Brimstone

As of a few months back, both Robert Pattinson (Twilight) and Mia Wasikowska (Only Lovers Left Alive) were set to star in Martin Koolhoven’s Brimstone. But today we’ve learned that they’ve both been replaced, and we’re more than okay with the new choices. Read on!
Per THR, “Game of Thrones” star Kit Harington (below) will be replacing Pattinson as an outlaw who has a crucial role in the tale of retribution. As for Wasikowska, Dakota Fanning is taking over as Liz, a heroine on the run from her past and chased by an evil preacher (Guy Pearce).
Harington’s “Game of Thrones” co-star Carice van Houten also has a role in the thriller alongside Paul Anderson (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows), Jack Roth (The Great Train Robbery), and Carla Juri (Wetlands).
Dutch filmmaker Koolhoven is directing from a script he wrote. Principal photography recently started on the project.
