Filmmakers: Take the Fantasia 2015 and TentSquare Bumper Challenge!

The first two waves of films have been announced for this year’s Fantasia International Film Festival, and while we wait for the final entries to be revealed, the powers-that-be have issued a challenge to you would-be filmmakers out there: Get off your butts and see if you’ve got what it takes to get a video accepted as a bumper for the event!

The 2015 edition of the Fantasia International Film Festival (July 14-August 4 in Montreal) is proud to team up with TentSquare for their first-ever bumper challenge, sponsored by Go Puck and Shock Till You Drop.
Fantasia and TentSquare challenge actors and filmmakers to submit 30-second or under videos, no dialogue, including the image of a cat or cats at some point. It’s that simple: Scare us, make us laugh, take us to another dimension… any genre. You can use your smartphone to shoot your entry or any camera lying around the house or studio.
The Grand Prize Winner will get a flight to Montreal with a 2-night hotel stay and all-access VIP badge to the three-week long 2015 Fantasia International Film Festival. He or she will also receive a lightweight charger from Go Puck.
The Grand Prize Winner’s and Top 10 Finalists’ submissions will be watched by thousands on the big screen before feature films in front of international audiences at the 2015 Fantasia International Film Festival. Each Finalist will also receive an all-access VIP badge to the three-week long festival.
Fifteen Semi-Finalists will have their submissions reviewed by industry professionals, including Mitch Davis (Co-Director and Co-Programmer, Fantasia International Film Festival), Samuel Zimmerman (Managing Editor, Shock Till You Drop), Kieir-La Janisse (Owner/Editor-in-Chief, Spectacular Optical Publications), film director Lucky McKee, and indie producer/TentSquare founder Andrew van den Houten.
