Mezco Donates Jason to Museum of Motion Pictures

Mezco's Jason!Mezco is showing they care about movies and the toys that are made from them with a donation to the Museum of Motion Pictures in New York this week. Action Figure reports that they’ve handed the institute both a “sack head” and masked Jason Voorhees prototype from the Friday the 13th remake, which as you know is out this Friday.

The museum is currently undergoing a massive expansion and restoration, but the figures will still be on display via the online Collection Catalog. When it fully re-opens next winter, the Jasons will be part of the Behind the Screen exhibition, which is devoted to licensed movie materials.

Don’t be too jealous; you can get your own badass Jason figure via Evilshop by clicking here, and check out more images of their new Jasons from last weekend’s New York Comic Con in our NYCC gallery!
