Exclusive: Debut of Beverly Lane Action Figures

Here’s a little secret about me: I love action figures. In fact, I’ve always wanted to get myself immortalized in action figure form. And while I wait to get that dream fulfilled, Dread Central recently learned of some really fun new action figures that are making their debut this October for the indie horror comedy Beverly Lane.

Writer/director Joshua Hull sent word over that in honor of Beverly Lane’s October 29th premiere, he had a set of action figures made of some of the key cast members and will be giving them out during the premiere event in Indiana. If the response is great enough, Hull teased there just may be an opportunity to purchase sets of the figures in the future.

The four characters from left to right are Adam Cadabra (Jim O’Rear), Andy (Noah East), Susan (Debora J. Mincy), and Scotty the Janitor (Mark A. Nash). Read on for character descriptions and details on the Beverly Lane premiere!

Exclusive: Debut of Beverly Lane Action Figures

* Adam Cadabra is the creepy magician Andy hires for “Coney Island” day. Adam is a magician, part-time stripper, and aspiring screenwriter.

* Andy is the new boss at Beverly Lane Metal. The 26-year-old has to deal with ungrateful older employees, crazy clowns, bloodthirsty religious circles, and zombies — all on his first day.

* Susan is the office tramp/minor league cult leader. When all hell breaks loose, Susan adds judgment, murder, and re-population to her resume.

* Scotty is the long-time janitor at Beverly Lane Metal. A life-long action movie addict, Scotty attempts to become the “JCVD” of Beverly Lane. The word “hero” fits him as well as his janitor jumpsuit.

Beverly Lane is set to premiere on October 29th at midnight at the Hamilton 16 IMAX Theater in Noblesville, IN. Tickets to this event are $7.25, and those in attendance will get so much more than just a night with some flesh-eating zombies. The premiere event kicks off with a costume contest in the theater mezzanine between 10:30-10:45 pm, and contestants will be competing for tons of great prizes.
