‘Hell Of A Summer’ Stars On How They Learned To Love The Horror Genre
Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk’s summer camp slasher Hell of a Summer boasts a colorful and comedic cast of characters that both adhere to genre tropes while modernizing them in this update on films like Friday the 13th. Amongst their cast of rising stars are actors D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Pardis Saremi, and Abby Quinn, who play counselors Mike, Demi, and Claire, respectively. They each embody a horror movie stereotype while putting a unique spin on their characters.
We spoke with Quinn, Saremi, and Woon-A-Tai about discovering the horror genre, playing pretend, and having a killer time on set.
