‘Affection’ – Jessica Rothe Appears Terrified in New Stills for Psychological Horror Film Coming this May

Star Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day) appears terrified in a new batch of stills released for the upcoming horror film, Affection. Announced alongside the photos, Brainstorm Media has set the film to land in theaters this May.

Ellie Carter (Rothe) has never met the man who calls himself her husband, doesn’t recognize the girl who calls her mother, and can’t remember the life she is told is her own. Afflicted by violent seizures that reset her memory without warning, she is trapped in a cyclical nightmare, struggling to uncover the horrifying truth of her existence before she forgets it all over again.

Rothe, known for her starring role in Happy Death Day, leads the cast alongside Joseph Cross (Lincoln) and Julianna Layne (Scrap).

The film is written and directed by BT Meza, who also produces alongside Bay Dariz, Austin Walk and JP Ouellette under the Superconductive banner. Christian Henderson and Christy Walker serve as executive producers.

Affection arrives in select theaters on May 8th via Brainstorm Media.
