‘Alien Isolation 2’ Reveal Trailer Unleashes Xenomorph! [Watch]

No one can hear you scream in space, but my neighbors can definitely hear me screaming right now because a reveal trailer for Creative Assembly’s Alien: Isolation 2 has just been unleashed at Summer Game Fest 2026, and it has me drooling like a xenomorph!

In it, we’re treated to the eerie atmosphere of a stormy planet where a ship appears to have crashed. On board lurks a creature Alien fans will be all too familiar with.

The first Alien: Isolation is part of the official canon of the Alien franchise. The game follows Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, and is set approximately 15 years after the events of the original film aboard the Sevastopol space station.

It features first-person survival horror gameplay focused on stealth and evasion of a single persistent Xenomorph threat.

Upon release in 2014, the game received generally positive critical reception, with particular praise for its atmosphere and fidelity to the tone of the original film.

The sequel looks to follow in similar footsteps. Alien: Isolation remains one of the most terrifying games I’ve ever played. Big shoes to fill. But I have faith.

The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch 2. No word yet on a release date.

Stay tuned to Dread for more details as we learn them.
