‘Alien: Isolation’ Video Game Sequel Gets a Teaser

A feeling of being safer than one really is.

On April 26, 2026, coinciding with Alien Day, Sega released the first teaser video for the sequel to Alien: Isolation. The brief teaser marks the first official footage of the project following its earlier confirmation, signaling that development has progressed beyond its initial announcement phase and is gearing up for serious development.

Alien: Isolation is part of the official canon of the Alien franchise. The game follows Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, and is set approximately 15 years after the events of the original film aboard the Sevastopol space station.

It features first-person survival horror gameplay focused on stealth and evasion of a single persistent Xenomorph threat.

Upon release in 2014, the game received generally positive critical reception, with particular praise for its atmosphere and fidelity to the tone of the original film.

No official title, release date, platforms, or gameplay details have been disclosed yet.
