Chicago: ‘Obsession’ Star Megan Lawless Signing at Flashback Weekend This Month!
Megan Lawless is headed to Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention, taking place July 31 through August 2, 2026, Dread Central learned today.
Lawless stars as Sarah Harper in this year’s record-breaking horror hit Obsession, earning praise for her performance as the compassionate young woman caught in the dangerous orbit of Bear and Nikki. Her portrayal helped make Sarah one of the film’s most relatable and beloved characters.
Sarah Harper’s face didn’t survive Obsession, but Megan Lawless did… and she’ll be meeting fans in person all weekend at Flashback Weekend.
Her previous credits include the indie horror films Killer Rental and The Death That Awaits, along with roles in The Hate U Give, Table 19, and Hulu’s The Girl from Plainville.
Lawless joins an impressive lineup of guests that includes Scream stars David Arquette, Marley Shelton, Dermot Mulroney, and Roger Jackson, Evil Dead actress Jane Levy, An American Werewolf in London star David Naughton, horror favorites Tom Atkins and Dick Warlock, composer Alan Howarth, Chicago television legend Svengoolie, and many more appearing throughout the weekend.
Flashback Weekend returns to the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago, with tickets and celebrity photo ops now on sale through the convention’s official website.
