‘Passenger’ Poster Turns a Lonely Road Into an Upside-Down Cross [Exclusive]

Lou Llobell as “Maddie" and Jacob Scipio as “Tyler" in Passenger from Paramount Pictures.

EXCLUSIVE: We finally got a look at the phenomenal first full trailer for André Ovredal‘s road-set horror film, Passenger, which Paramount Pictures will drive into theaters on May 22, 2026.

Now, we have an exclusive look at a brand new poster for Ovredal’s latest, which kicks off a few weeks into their van life adventure, where a young couple witnesses a horrific accident that leaves the driver dead. Soon they’re being pursued by a demonic stalker who’s impossible to outrun and follows them wherever they go.

The film stars Jacob ScipioLou Llobell, and Melissa Leo.

The artwork turns a lonely highway into an ominous upside-down cross, hinting at danger and dread beneath the surface. It continues the religious imagery seen throughout the trailer and marketing.

Ovredal became a horror name with his 2010 found footage Trollhunter and the classic The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016), and would go on to direct two criminally underrated horror films: Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) and The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023).
