Win Gut on Blu-ray – Includes Unseen Alternate Ending

default-featured-image

Gut is a film we covered quite a bit back in 2012, leading up to its DVD release a year later. Then… crickets. That’s because distributor Anderson Digital ended up bankrupt. But now, three years after that failed attempt, writer/director Elias’ directorial debut is back as an all-new, collectible Blu-ray, including an alternate ending never before released in the US. And we have three copies to give away!

This new home video release by Parade Deck Films also boasts updated cover art (check it out below), audio commentaries, an interview with leading lady Sarah Schoofs, and many of the original special features from the 2013 DVD release as well.

Gut (review) centers on Tom, a family man who’s seen something he can’t forget, a mysterious video with an ugly secret that soon spreads into his daily life and threatens to dismantle everything around him. Jason Vail, Nicholas Wilder, and Sarah Schoofs star.

Synopsis:
Something is missing in Tom’s life. His marriage has lost its spark, his job is suffocating him, and his childhood best friend, Dan, still clings to the past. Every day he goes through the motions, becoming increasingly detached from those around him. Dan thinks he has the solution, a mysterious video Tom’s got to see to believe… tonight.

What Dan shows him leaves Tom unsettled, flooding his mind with disturbing images and desires, and binding the two friends together with its ugly secret.
