Finally a trailer has arrived for Chad Michael Ward’s feature debut, Strange Blood, and we have every pixel of it waiting for you to sample right here. Hint: it’s pretty warm and gooey.
Inspired by David Cronenberg’s The Fly and Videodrome as well as the works of Robert Louis Stevenson, Strange Blood is the bold feature directorial debut of Chad Michael Ward, who previously worked as a photographer, music video director, and creative director.
The film is produced by Pearry Teo (Dracula: The Dark Prince, Necromentia, Cloud Atlas) and Rosie Zwaduk. It was written by Teo and Ward and stars Robert Brettenaugh and Alexandra Bard.

When a brilliant but obsessive scientist (Brettenaugh) goes to extremes to develop a universal cure for all disease, he finds himself infected with a bizarre parasite that begins to transform him into a bloodthirsty madman. Time is running out, and with the aid of his med student assistant (Bard), he must find a way to stop the monster that is growing within and prevent the rest of the world from being “cured.”
