Kane Hodder Playing Jason Voorhees One More Time for Mad Mobster Party

Earlier this year Robert Englund appeared at Flashback Weekend as Freddy Krueger, slapping on the makeup and glove one final time. It was only a matter of time before other horror icons got in on the gimmicky fun, and it looks like it’s now Kane Hodder’s turn to give back to his fans.

Considered by many to be the Jason Voorhees, Hodder hasn’t played the role since 2001’s Jason X, and it seemed like a guarantee that he’d never rock the hockey mask again. Over 10 years later, the mask is going back on for one last time.

At next year’s true crime and horror expo Mad Mobster Party, kicking off Friday (the 13th) of February in Chicago, Hodder will be posing for photographs with fans in the full Jason makeup and costume, designed by John Carl Buechler – the FX designer and director of Friday the 13th: The New Blood.

The photo will be included in a special package on sale this Friday at a cost of $199. It will come with one autograph from Kane and John, an in-makeup photo op with a green screen background (for up to 2 adults), and reserved seating at the Q&A. It does not include admission to the convention, which is required (single day Friday is $25, weekend is $50).

Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will be extremely limited, so be sure to bookmark Mad Mobster’s website and check back on Halloween! It takes places at the Hilton Chicago Hotel, 720 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60613.
