Sarah Dumont Scores Lead Role in Scouts vs. Zombies
With filming set to begin later this week, the cast of Christopher Landon's Scouts vs. Zombies has just been filled out, as another actress has signed on to get her merit badge. Read on for the latest!
THR reports that up-and-comer Sarah Dumont (Don Jon) has nabbed the female lead in the horror comedy, which has been described as a star-making role.
The young actress will play a high school dropout that has guys panting, and who will ultimately teach the scouts to man up in their fight.
Dumont joins the previously announced Halston Sage, Lukas Gage, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller, Joseph Morgan, and David Koechner. Andy Fickman, Todd Garner, Bryan Brucks and Betsy Sullenger are producing.
The movie follows a group of Boy Scouts who try to fend off a zombie attack in their small town.
Shooting is set to begin May 8 so expect lots more soon.
