Get Ready to Chow Down on Two Helpings of an American Burger
Artery-clogging calories and pink slime aren't the only things on the menu in the upcoming horror comedy American Burger, which now has a premiere date and even a sequel. Read on!
As per Screen Daily, Berlin-based sales and production company Picture Tree International will show a work-in-progress cut of the film at the European Film Market, taking place February 6th-14th. In addition, Swedish production company LittleBig Productions is preparing an online release of American Burger, set to hit the net in May.

The flick, directed by Bonita Drake and Johan Bromander, stars Liam Macdonald, Benjamin Brook, Aggy Kuk, Gabriel Freilich, Ben Thornton, Fredrik Hiller, Madeleine Borg, Lena Bengtson, Hanna Nygren, Charlie Petersson, and Hjalmar Strid.

In the sequel, the few and severely traumatized survivors of the American Burger massacre travel the relatively safe roads of the desert (no woods, no butchers). This time they drive a recreational vehicle under the guidance of the (somewhat unstable) Dr. Shrink, who’s trying to convince them, through practical therapy, that the terrors that happened during the culture trip in Europe last summer was a freak incident that can’t ever happen again...
