Zombie Jesus Comic Prince of Pieces Being Resurrected in October by Creator’s Edge Press

With San Diego Comic-Con officially kicking off today, we’re happy to bring you a comics success story for Sam Miserendino’s satirical graphic novel Prince of Pieces, which has been picked up for distribution by Creator’s Edge Press.
Miserendino dropped us a line with the news, and while the 73-page Prince of Pieces doesn’t have an exact release date, he said the publisher is aiming to launch it in October. The horror comic about the return of Jesus has been in the works for several years now, and all of Miserendino’s hard work is finally paying off.
“I’m very excited that Prince of Pieces has been picked up by Creator’s Edge Press,” he said. “Like me, they realize that during these troubled times the world is in need of a heartwarming story about a flesh-eating Jesus who returns after two thousand years to dispose of sinners with biblical flair.”
It’s all meant to be in the holy spirit of gory fun with a little pointed commentary thrown in, and soon enough we’ll all be able to partake.
Synopsis:
For two thousand years you’ve been eating His flesh and drinking His blood… Now it’s His turn!
The Son of God is mad as hell, and He disposes of sinners with biblical panache. Those He encounters suffer gruesome fates: Some are inflicted with leprosy and stigmata; others are turned into pillars of salt.
