UPDATE: Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Images: Danielle Harris in Michael Rosenbaum's Horror Short Fade into You
Here at Dread Central we love us some Danielle Harris so any time she dips her toe into the horror blood pool, we try to be right there to give you guys the scoop! Case in point: Michael Rosenbaum's new horror short Fade into You, which not only looks appropriately sticky but has now drilled that Mazzy Star song completely into our heads for the rest of the day.
The flick stars Harris and another DC fav, AJ Bowen (House of the Devil, The Signal, Hatchet II), and as you'll see from the splattery good behind-the-scenes imagery below, it is also home to some killer effects work from Erik Porn of Rob Hall's Almost Human.
Update:
According to director Michael Rosenbaum:
"I wanted to do something that actually scares me. One night I was sitting in my jacuzzi, alone of course. And my dog starting growling at something. I felt so vulnerable. If someone was lurking around the corner, I'd be pretty much screwed. Because... A). my dog is a pussy and B). I'm completely naked."
"Fade into You is romantic comedy thriller," Rosenbaum continues. "It's something that could happen to anyone, anywhere. Just when life seems to be going your way, your past comes back to get you. I'll leave it at that. And yes, the short was inspired from one of the best songs ever made, Fade Into you by Mazzy Star. Haunting and beautiful. I just hope she allows me to use her song. I'm the biggest fan."
Dig it!
