Carrie - The Musical to Bathe in Pig's Blood Again
If you poke around online long enough, you can find excerpts from Carrie - The Musical, a great idea just so terribly executed. Despite being pulled after five performances on Broadway, it looks like the musical version of Stephen King's novel is coming back to the stage with a song in its heart and, hopefully, some spring in its step.
The New York Post is reporting that producers Jeffrey Seller and Kevin McCollum are looking to resurrect the much maligned Broadway debacle, with the hopes they'll get it right this time.
Next month, they're producing a six-figure workshop of the musical, based on Stephen King's 1974 thriller about a teenage girl with telekinetic powers.
Think Carrie has what it takes to succeed on Broadway?
