Margot Kidder Joins Halloween 2 Cast

Despite being well into filming, Rob Zombie keeps the casting process going for his upcoming sequel, Halloween 2. The newest face? Margot Kidder. We hope the former Lois Lane has kept Superman’s phone number. Something tells me she’s gonna need him.
Zombie announced via his MySpace page that Kidder, who’s no stranger to the genre what with Black Christmas and The Amityville Horror under her belt, will be playing Laurie Strode’s therapist Barbara Collier.
Given that Margot has been deemed a bit on the loony side lately, this development at the very least should make for some interesting times on set.
In other H2 news, Zombie also posted that the title of the film was changed to H2: The Devil Walks Among Us, but then quickly removed that nugget of news. Maybe he changed his mind? Maybe he jumped the gun? Who knows?
Look for Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2 in theatres on August 28th, 2009.
