Screw Pokémon Go! This is an augmented reality game we can totally get behind. That’s right, kids! The dead are around every corner in The Walking Dead: Our World.
The Walking Dead: Our World, an augmented reality location-based mobile game, has just been announced by AMC and Finnish games developer Next Games. The game, based on the hit AMC TV show, is a first-of-its-kind location-based AR mobile game, allowing players to fight walkers on the streets, in the park, on their sofa, wherever and whenever they want.
You won’t need to face the apocalypse alone; Rick, Daryl, Michonne, and all your favorite characters from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” will fight by your side. Think the aforementioned Nintendo game, but with zombies.
The Walking Dead: Our World will be available for iPhone and iPad – created with the help of Apple’s ARKit, as well as Android devices worldwide. The launch timeframe will be announced later.
