Shudder Announces Release Date for Sweet Sweet Lonely Girl

The horror streaming service Shudder has announced that they will be bringing the gothic thriller Sweet Sweet Lonely Girl to their site on May 4th. The film is said to be a slow burn, one that soaks itself in atmosphere and takes its time building dread and suspense. Basically, it sounds like it’s right up my alley.
Writer/director A.D. Calvo’s gothic atmospheric horror film stars Erin Wilhelmi, Susan Kellermann, and Quinn Shephard.
Synopsis:
Sweet Sweet Lonely Girl explores the friendship between quiet Adele and seductive Beth, which blossoms as Adele takes care of her agoraphobic aunt. As Adele begins to discover that Beth may not be who she says she is, she is sent spiraling down a psychologically unhinged and phantasmagoric path, following in the footsteps of her unstable aunt.
