Wandering through the sea of humanity at San Diego Comic-Con, our own Ted Henstchke ran into Lights Out (review) producer Lawrence Grey to speak with him about the flick; and he came back with a tasty tidbit of news! Look for Ted’s full interview soon!

Grey confirmed that he’s working with director David F. Sandberg on an unconfirmed project. When pressed for more info, he teased, “It’s up to the fan reaction to Lights Out.” Let the speculation begin.

Currently Sandberg is filming Annabelle 2.

David F. Sandberg directed Lights Out from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer, based on Sandberg’s own short film. James Wan produced alongside Lawrence Grey, Eric Heisserer, and executive producers Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter, Richard Brener, Michael Clear, Jack Murray, and Ben Everard. Look for it in theaters tomorrow (and a few early screenings tonight).
