Man Dies Watching The Conjuring 2; His Body Vanishes Without a Trace

James Wan’s hit sequel The Conjuring 2 is nothing short of a masterful horror film, and if you were terrified while watching it in your local theater, you damn sure weren’t the only one. But the horror of the film pales in comparison to that of a real-life mystery tied to a screening of it over in India last week.
As reported by The Times of India, an unnamed 65-year-old man passed away while watching The Conjuring 2 at Sri Balasubramaniar Cinemas in Tiruvannamalai Town on Thursday night, and though you won’t find us sensationalizing the story by suggesting that he literally died of fright, there is one aspect of the story that is quite chilling…
The man’s body… well, it has completely disappeared in the wake of his death.
After complaining of chest pain towards the film’s climax, the man was brought to a local hospital by his friend, where he was declared dead. His body, which was supposed to be taken to Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College for postmortem, then vanished without a trace. So too, to make the story even stranger, did the man’s friend.
At this time authorities are trying to identify the deceased. His body, and his friend, are still missing.
