Here’s another one for you cats out there who have a terrible fear of clowns. We love torturing you. LOVE IT! Read on for your first look at Clowntown!

CLOWNTOWN, a new horror feature about a group of friends stranded in a small town who are stalked by a gang of violent psychopaths dressed as clowns, has released its first teaser trailer and some new stills.
The movie is inspired by the clowns who terrorized Bakersfield, CA, in 2014. It recently had its cast/crew premiere in Los Angeles.
Tom Nagel (“Relentless”) directed from a screenplay by writer/producer Jeff Miller (AXE GIANT: THE WRATH OF PAUL BUNYAN). “If you’re terrified of clowns, don’t see this movie,” said Miller.
CLOWNTOWN stars Brian Nagel (Katy Perry’s music video “Roar”), Lauren Elise (Justin Lin’s Google Spotlight Story “Help”), Katie Keene (UNION FURNACE), Andrew Staton (“Relentless”), Jeff Denton (THE BEAST OF BRAY ROAD), Greg Violand (BATMAN V. SUPERMAN), Maryann Nagel (INTO THE STORM), Kaitlyn Sapp (“Banshee”), and more. David H. Greathouse (LATE PHASES), Chris Hahn (Paul Bunyan from AXE GIANT), Ryan Pilz, Beki Ingram, and Alan Tuskes play some of the murderous clowns.
Miller’s Millman Productions is producing, along with the Nagel brothers’ company, Steel House Productions, and Christopher Lawrence Chapman’s Zorya Films. Ronnie D. Lee is an executive producer. Robert Kurtzman (FROM DUSK TILL DAWN) is co-producer. Ken Stachnik is the cinematographer. Pilz is the production designer.
Greathouse and Ingram (both of Syfy’s “Face/Off”) handled the bulk of the makeup FX work out of Robert Kurtzman’s Creature Corps. Holly Amber Church (RITES OF SPRING) composed the score. CLOWNTOWN is currently being submitted to distributors.
