If you think the horror genre has run out of original ideas, then look no further than Hellitosis: The Legend of Stankmouth. The movie, which is still seeking some funds via crowdfunding, hopes to introduce the world to a colorful character who has an anus where his mouth should be. It’s gross, putrid, and downright revolting — in other words, it’s the sort of movie I’d love to watch.
Here’s how writer/director/producer Rob Mulligan describes the project:
This is a twistedly hilarious story about a non-conventional serial killer! Our killer has a “condition” that has left him a bit shy and embarrassed. No one seems to understand him and everyone seems to be grossed out when they see him or smell him! Left with nothing but shame, he resorts to lashing out in the only way he knows how with VIOLENCE! LOTS OF DISGUSTINGLY FUNNY VIOLENCE!
