Blumhouse.com has just relaunched with a ton of new horror content pertaining to their movies and a whole lot more.

Together with Red Seat Ventures—-a company whose partners include Chris Balfe and Joel Cheatwood that directly connects content creators and audiences—-Blumhouse Productions today launched Blumhouse.com, an online home for all things scary. The site will feature a mix of original and curated genre content. Blumhouse’s films will form only a part of the site, which also will take fans behind the scenes of a diverse range of real life scares, genre films, television shows, and projects in other media, giving them special access to the cast and crew.

The site has been transformed into a celebration of all things scary where fans can find a mix of horror content, scary stories, real life news of the weird, quizzes, lists, short films, and much more,” says Editor-in-Chief Rebekah McKendry. “We may cover some occasional Blumhouse stuff, but that is by no means the limit. The site is working entirely separate from the studio side of Blumhouse Productions.

Additionally, as part of this venture, Blumhouse and NBCUniversal will develop millennial-focused, video content together with select advertising clients that can be scaled across platforms. Blumhouse Productions specializes in original content which typically attracts an audience that is 65% under the age of 25 – audiences that advertisers covet.

“What I love most about working with genre filmmakers is the incredible community of creatives and fans who embrace the odd, the strange, and the different,” said Jason Blum, Founder and CEO, Blumhouse Productions. “So it made perfect sense to try and create an online home for that community with Blumhouse.com. We are excited to extend our partnership with NBCUniversal and work with Red Seat Ventures to provide more and more platforms for the best minds for all things scary.”

“In today’s cross-platform media landscape, it is more important than ever to partner with the right people and invest in and create original video content that resonates with viewers,” said Linda Yaccarino, Chairman, Advertising Sales and Client Partnerships, NBCUniversal. “Jason and his team at Blumhouse are the experts at scaring up millennial audiences, and our partnership is another addition to our collection of branded production capabilities.”
