The film will arrive exclusively on Vimeo July 24th, though there are a handful of theatrical dates lined up as well. Should you choose to pre-order the flick ahead of its street date, you’ll get a free poster signed by Kian Lawley.
The Chosen is a supernatural thriller that also stars Mykayla Sohn, Elizabeth Keener, Angelica Chitwood.

SUPERGRAVITY Pictures, founded by Max Benator and Marc Hustvedt, has partnered with Vimeo to release four films over the next year on Vimeo On Demand. Each film will be exclusively available for direct purchase on Vimeo On Demand for a period of thirty days In addition, SUPERGRAVITY will handle a limited theatrical release for each film.
The first film to be released is The Chosen, a thriller starring YouTube superstar Kian Lawley as Cameron, a teen who’s forced to make a decision between saving his family or his niece after she’s possessed by a demon. SUPERGRAVITY produced The Chosen in partnership with Terror Films.
The Chosen premieres Friday, July 24th in Anaheim across the street from Vidcon, the world’s largest and most influential online video conference for creators and their fans. Planners are hosting both a ‘black carpet’ talent and industry premiere as well as special theatrical screenings of the film for fans.
After the premiere, The Chosen immediately heads to Vimeo On Demand, where it will be available worldwide as the only place to purchase or rent the film for the next thirty days outside of its limited theatrical run.
SUPERGRAVITY’s Head of Marketing & Audience Intelligence, Katie Hawkins and her team will collaborate with Vimeo across marketing efforts, creating custom campaigns for each film.
