Hello, you glorious gluttons for all things indie horror! Are you just starving for the newest of the new, the most unknownest of the unknown? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Welcome to the Ultra-Indie Daily Dose! In this series, we’re going to pick a new game every day from an indie horror creator you’ve probably never heard of. No million-dollar budgets or factory productions. This is the space for the little guy with not but a developer toolkit and a dream. So if you’re down to roll the dice on something different, then stick around and check it out!

Welcome back for your Daily Dose of indie horror! Today we have a game courtesy of developer Tainted Games. I feel like they’re a rebranding of another developer because they have released a whole host of games in just the last week. This includes Little Terror, Last Stop, and two iterations of our featured game, Agoraphobia.

An agoraphobic generally means someone with a fear of leaving the home. Agoraphobia is a game about being waaay out of your comfort zone. The game begins in the woods near your car. You’ve nothing but a flashlight, a missing person poster, and a whole lot of gangly trees to keep you company.

The first half of the game is about exploring what appears to be an old summer camp cabin, looking for clues in and around a big room full of bunk beds. The latter half of Agoraphobia takes place at your house when whatever creeps and freaks you saw at the cabin seem to have made a return. What a shame, when an agoraphobic doesn’t even feel safe in the comfort of their own home.

Agoraphobia is about 20-30 minutes long. After you’re good and spooked with this one, you can try out Agoraphobia “Knock Knock,” which appears to be a sequel. Both games are on sale for $0.50 each, here and here. Or, you can buy the whole Tainted Games bundle for $1.50 by clicking here.
