Wes Craven Looking to Make TV More Terrifying
Decades from now horror fans will no doubt look back at this point in time and deem it the golden age of horror television. Truth be told, all year we’ve seen better horror at home than in theatres, and it just might be getting even better!
Bloody Disgusting is reporting that on the heels of the “Scream” pilot getting under way for MTV, Wes Craven is said to be close to signing a deal with NBC/Universal Cable to produce TV for NBC/Universal cable outlets including the Syfy channel.
This is great news if it turns out to be true, but as a horror fan growing up in the Nineties, I also remember a slew of bad “Wes Craven Presents” movies like They, Dracula 2000 (which admittedly is a bit of a guilty pleasure), and more. Approach with caution and stay tuned, kids!
