Dexter Comes to CBS

Let’s say I’m not the only person walking around on two legs right now without cable. I know, it’s almost hypothetical at this point, but just go with me here. If that were the case, then the recent announcement that CBS will be airing the first seasons of “Dexter”, the massive Showtime hit about a forensics expert who moonlights as a serial killer, is some very fine news to those of us who lack the pay channel.
Daily Variety got word this morning that The Eye has plans to air all 12 eps of “Dexter: Season One” (which you can get through Evilshop right here) with some minor cuts, more for commercial inclusion than anything else, since after its grisly premiere the show’s not much more bloody than “CSI”. And if it makes you feel any better, Showtime president Bob Greenblatt oversaw the cuts to the show himself…
Look for “Dexter” on CBS starting February 17th; I know I sure as hell will!
