Strike Stops Castlevania
Call it a good or bad thing, but according to Daily Variety this morning the big screen adaptation of Castlevania is now officially on hold.
Thanks to the ongoing writer’s strike, Rogue Pictures has unplugged the movie because it was in need of re-writes. Unsurprising consider the script was by Alien Vs. Predator ruiner extraordinaire Paul W.S. Anderson (pictured).
Sylvain White was attached to direct but who’s to say he’ll still be available when the strike is finally resolved? Personally I’ll just hold out hope that they shelve it, forget about it for a few years, and move ahead with something not written by King Hack.
