John Connolly's NoctunesNew Line have picked up what Gold Cirlce Films is putting down, namely their latest horror offering, The New Daughter, according to Daily Variety.

In case you had forgotten, Daughter stars Kevin Costner as a divorced man who takes his two children with him out to a farm in the middle of nowhere to start a new life. When the daughter, played by Pan’s Labyrinth star Ivana Banquero, stars to behave ominously, he believes the nearby burial mound may have something to do with it.

Luscio Berdejo will helm the film, which is set to role early next year, from a script by John Travis based on a short story written by John Connolly. For those really interested you can nab the Connolly collection Nocturnes, where the story first appeared, to get an idea what we’re in for.
