So if you’re down to roll the dice on something different, then stick around and check it out!
Eizoku is a small experimental horror game by itch.io developer Catoverlord. Remember that episode of Samurai Jack where he’s on a seemingly endless rope bridge going through dense fog? This game is kind of like that, but creepy.
In Eizoku you are in a strange world. Starting out under a torii gate, which I believe marks a sacred area, you begin your walk over a bridge. The light rain and dark fog creates a dreamlike atmosphere, but that dream takes a darker turn. Almost immediately you catch a glimpse of the mysterious creature who is watching you.
But unfortunately, Eizoku is on indefinite hold at the moment. Though the possibility of the project continuing again is certainly on the table. You can try the game yourself and let Catoverlord know how much you enjoyed it by clicking here.
