Fans Are Calling the #1 Horror Movie On Netflix “Not for the faint of heart”

This 2019 horror movie is cutting through the competition on the charts this week. It might be because of Octavia Spencer’s performance. Or it might have something to do with people getting some distance from its premiere. Whatever the case, the #1 horror movie on Netflix today is Ma. Allow us to dance through this basement and fill you in on what you missed.

“A lonely middle-aged woman befriends some teenagers and decides to let them party in the basement of her home. But there are some house rules: One of the kids has to stay sober, don’t curse, and never go upstairs. They must also refer to her as Ma. But as Ma’s hospitality starts to curdle into obsession, what began as a teenage dream turns into a terrorizing nightmare, and Ma’s place goes from the best place in town to the worst place on Earth.”

Ma was directed by Tate Taylor and written by Scotty Landes. The movie stars Octavia Spencer, Juliette Lewis, Diana Silvers, Corey Fogelmanis, Luke Evans, and Gianni Paolo.

While many people seem to be enjoying the movie these days, all of them are mainly here for Octavia Spencer’s performance.
