‘The Mill’ Trailer Teases A Horrifying Capitalist Hellscape [Watch]
In 2021, Sean King O’Grady terrified audiences with his claustrophobic single-location horror We Need To Do Something. Now, O’Grady is moving into bigger locations (but still just one) with his new film The Mill, written by Jeffrey David Thomas and starring Lil Rel Howery. In this film, O’Grady crafts a concrete hellscape where productivity is all that matters and people are literal cogs in the machine.
Read the full synopsis below:
A businessman (Lil Rel Howery) wakes up beside an ancient grist mill situated in the center of an open-air prison cell with no idea how he got there. Forced to work as a beast of burden to stay alive, he must find a way to escape before the birth of his child.

Howery stars in the film alongside Scoot McNairy, Pat Healy, Karen Obilom, and Patrick Fischler.
The Mill comes exclusively to Hulu on October 9, 2023.
