Death, though necessary, sucks. Mainly because it seems as if only the good or intelligent are taken from us too soon while the mean and ignorant live on seemingly forever. Still, maybe some day someone will find a cure for it. Too bad you can’t cure stupid.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Olivia Wilde (pictured) and Mark Duplass will star in Reawakening, a Lionsgate horror thriller being directed by David Gelb (Jiro Dreams of Sushi).

Written by Luke Dawson and Jeremy Slater, the story centers on a research team that discovers a way to bring the dead to life. When the lead doctor’s daughter dies, she is given the serum, which leads to horrifying results. Sounds kind of Re-Animatory to us, but hey, you never know. Look for more on this one as it comes.
