The Strange History of Polish Vampire Burials [Watch]

A recent archaeological discovery will have horror fans, especially vampire lovers, excited and maybe a little terrified. An archaeologist uncovered a supposed vampire burial site where a woman was buried with a sickle around her neck and a padlock on one of her toes. These were precautions taken in case she came back to life. But this corpse wasn’t the only one to face such a bizarre fate.

This week on Dread: The Unsolved, we look at the strange custom of vampire burials practiced in Poland and other Slavic countries throughout the 17th century.
