In Netflix’s live-action Resident Evil series, actor Lance Reddick takes on the role of the diabolical Albert Wesker. In the games, Wesker was a crazed villain bent on world domination. But Reddick’s Wesker seems different. The actor makes the character his own and provides a new perspective on the already-beloved franchise.

But, as he revealed in his interview with Dread Central, Reddick didn’t realize just how big of a character Wesker was in the games. In our interview, he explains his Resident Evil education, his favorite video games, and more.
