‘Nope’: Stunning New Poster Has You Falling Into The Sky

Nope

Since the Nope trailer dropped on Super Bowl Sunday, we’ve all been buzzing with excitement. Twitter users are scouring it frame by frame to find clues about what’s in store for audiences come July 22. Right now, it looks like it’s probably alien-related. But knowing Jordan Peele, it’s not going to be so straightforward. Now, a brand new poster just dropped which has only heightened our already mounting curiosity.

Check out the poster below:

Nope

We know from the trailer that Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluuya run a horse ranch, so the visual focus of the floating horse makes sense. Then, there are the strange dolls we see floating about Palmer’s name. They make an appearance in the trailer, too, as a seeming pile of merchandise sold at the horse ranch. With all of these objects and living beings being sucked up into the sky, it really feels like aliens are the answer for Nope. So what do they want? Are they friendly aliens? Or do they have more sinister intentions?

With the release of the poster also comes the official, albeit vague, plot synopsis:

“Residents in a lonely gulch of inland California bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.”

Watch the trailer for Nope:

Palmer, Kaluuya, and Steven Yeun star in Nope. Michael Wincott and Brandon Perea also appear in the film.

Jordan Peel wrote, directed, and produced Nope. Universal Pictures will release the film worldwide.

Nope hits theaters July 22, 2022.
